The specific manganese-aluminum alloy that we use for the SAB fuselage range features significant strength and excellent corrosion resistance.
The addition of large amounts of manganese controls the grain structure, which in turn results in a stronger alloy.
All our fuselages are CNC shaped to have the smoothest surfaces and subjected to hard elox 50um surface treatment: this fuselage range is the state of art in aluminum milling.
The shape of the FK647 is designed to minimize hydraulic structure resistance and increase performance for kitesurfing and for the front wings used for wingfoil racing (W1110, W1000, W800, W671).
The shape of the FS710 is designed to minimize hydraulic structure resistance and increase performance for surf & sup.
It has been the standard default fuselage for most surf, SUP and wingfoil wings and uses M6 bolts.
High-strength fuselage 700 mm.
This new model has been designed to enhance the fuselage strength and to guarantee higher resistance to our biggest front wings, thanks to the presence of threaded holes M8.
The positioning of the mast attachment is also different from the FS710 in that the front wing will be closer to the mast that with the FS710. This results in more maneuverability for the same wing when using the FS700HS.
WARNING: verify the compatibility with your front wings and stabilizers for use with the FS700HS.
Always keep the threaded holes clean and lubricate them often using lithium grease to avoid and prevent oxidation and corrosion due to seawater.
